I gutted this badly converted loft apartment, riddled with cliches, down to bare walls then reconfigured the space top to toe – the toilet was all that was left standing in this never lived in space. Facing north the consistent light streaming in from 11’ tall x 35’ wide windows set in 13’ tall ceilings gave the interior a lovely glow that set the tone for the new interior where less is more is the rule.
The new open kitchen over-looking the dining/living space is one of the few such spaces I find acceptable. I loath eating where I cook or relax but this worked.
